On December 12, 2010 VIAS GmbH took over the regional traffic on RMV line 10 (right Rhine route) of the Rheingau line, between Frankfurt (M) – Wiesbaden – Rüdesheim – Koblenz – Neuwied.
VIAS GmbH prevailed in a Europe-wide tender by the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) in 2008 and was awarded the contract to operate until December 2023. 19 FLIRT multiple units from Stadler will be used. The multiple units travel up to 160 km / h, offer large toilets and 12 bicycle parking spaces. In addition, barrier-free entry at the stops is guaranteed.
